Well Child Visits

Well Child Visits For Your Newborn, Toddler, Or Child

Well Child Visits

Routine well-child visits are scheduled to check growth and development, to answer your questions, concerns and give immunizations. Your child will need wellness checkups at ages 2 weeks, 2 months, 4 months, 6 months, 9 months, 12 months, 15 months, 18 months, 2 years, 2 1/2 years, 3 years, 4 years, and 5 years. This helps with early detection of disease to begin necessary treatment as early as possible.

These visits will be frequent in the first two years of life because so much is happening with the growth and development of your child. As your child gets older, these visits will become less frequent.

Nutrition, development milestones, accident prevention, and discipline are several topics discussed at well-child visits. This is your time to address these concerns with your pediatrician.

Sick Child

It’s never fun when your child gets sick, but it happens! Generally, children start to get colds after about six months of age when the immunity they received from their mom fades and they have to build up their own immune system. Babies, toddlers, and preschoolers get about seven to eight colds a year.

If your child is feeling unwell, same day visits are available at Purohit Pediatric Clinic. We will try our best to work with your schedule and provide the most accurate and complete treatment of your sick child.
